Venues presentation

Rimini’s new and state-of-the-art Conference Centre is one of the largest and most versatile venues in Europe. Designed by architect Volkwin Marg of Studio GMP in Hamburg, it is a unique, high-tech complex destined to enhance the Rimini’s appeal.
Situated in an area of over 38,000m², the structure has three entrances and occupies a usable space of about 29,000m². The new Palacongressi di Rimini respects energy saving policies and environmental quality, combining sustainability and modern technology in order to host high profile events of all kinds.

The 39 rooms of the Palacongressi di Rimini are lit with both natural light and artificial/scenic lighting, with seating capacities ranging from 4.700 in the Piazza Hall to 20 in the breakout room, giving total seating capacity for 9.000 persons. The Rimini Palacongressi Conference Centre is distributed on 4 levels, linked by spacious public areas giving quick and easy access to all services, including areas for relaxation, catering points, information desk and cloakrooms.  The 3  indipendent entrances mean that different events can be held simultaneously.  On the first floor the Amphitheatre Hall counts 1.540 fixed seats and it's divisible into two conference rooms. The use of natural materials such as wood, glass and stone, combined with Italian style decor, gives the venue a unique personality and makes it a truly liveable space.

Technical equipment

Adjustable modular stages, motorised screens, motorised profile spots, dolly video system on rack, sliding/mobile, soundproof and noise reducing partition walls, travelling crane/steel beams with mobile/sliding racks for rigging, sliding power hoists, motorised truss systems, possibility to position the cameras beside the stage, at the back of the room, in the control room, dropped ceiling equipped with light projectors and set-up for rigging, rapid sliding of truss systems to any point , set up for rapid graphics hook up.

The Convention Bureau della Riviera di Rimini manages the activity of the Palacongressi di Rimini, providing services that steer its clients through all the organisational stages of their event: from the bidding process to negotiating the media, broadening its scope to include a increasingly wider range of communication and marketing services.

A team of professionals will assist the client in customising their event. The technical team, as experts on the venue’s potential, can design audio/video/lighting plants, create the perfect setting, enrich the image of the event by means of graphics, décor and multimedia tools all part of the existing technologies in the venue. Carefully selected qualified partners provide services required during the event: catering services, selected staffing of security, hostesses, assistants, interpreters and translators.

Via the Local Organising Committee, a constant link between institutions and businesses in the tourism sector, CBRR guarantees the organiser the support and collaboration of the destination in carrying out the event. Through AIA PALAS, an association of selected hotels providing booking for events hosted in the Palacongressi, it's possible to access an innovative and completely free system which guarantees quality accommodation at the best rates. Thanks to a multifunctional card which the participants receive from their hotel on arrival, it is possible to manage personalised information, accreditation functions and other services, together with offers and discounts reserved to congress participants (www.aiapalas.it ).
